  1. There's something murky and attractive about their enveloping sound, like Black Rebel Motorcycle Club, Jesus and Mary Chain, My Bloody Valentine; but, they still need to ratchet up the melodies and hooks and a little better singing, so they can move up to that next level. swaybone Friday, February 25, 2011 9:34 pm
  2. The opener's menace and ever creeping doom succeeds but I wish the lead singer's voice could either boomingly or baritone imitate the heavyness I hear. "Alive" seduces - but an increased confidence instead of just the latent ambivalence towards the song's namesake is required. "To Fix" is awfully NIN-like. I hear 'Jesus and Mary Chain' turning beach-a-billy on its face. The fourth and fifth song are rather similiar. The final epic hass the Joy Division alienated groove perfected - but all the distortion and headphone disintegration can't justify no discernible sections/climax/catharsis. Enjoyed the overall sound but more discipline and variety jboyaquar Thursday, October 02, 2008 1:52 am
