If you've been worried that you could never be made into a radio wave, you are wrong. It can happen and it can happen on a shoestring budget. You can have your bones, organs and muscles ground up like sea salt and commissioned as honorary frequencies if you sit close enough to the speakers and amplifiers at a Mazes show, or in the comfort of your own home.
They will show you the way that it's done. You will feel yourself turning lighter, not sure what's happening to you. Your hand will shake more than it's been doing lately, much more than is normal. You should be a little nervous about the things that you're sensing - those prickles in the skin, the light traces of dizziness and conversion. You're going through something of a transformation, being tossed into a spell that's splitting your molecules and turning you into something other than the version of yourself that you always thought was unquestionable.
Lead singer Jack Cooper sings about bodies colliding into other bodies at the top of this session, and it's an oblivious action, one that's performed without much thought. It feels like people have been possessed, as if everything was beyond their control and they were just fulfilling the wishes of some sort of oracle.
Mazes find ways to make this all feel like it's happening out-of-body and it's made to feel that it's irreversible. You will be taken and turned into a charge and from there on, you're at the mercy of the synthesized fates that are now your masters.
