When Blur (as Seymour) they were better than this on a bad night. The club did this show no justice and their sound man was smoking far too much to be effective. (all of this is just a strong possibility) I'm in my 50's and there;s NO WAY these cats are in the league of CANNED HEAT or MC 5. The real reach is the one before me, "a Chris Squire sound". This outfit is far closer to an early version of The Make Up.

I thought I was listening to some lost YES tape and when the singing started I thought I was listening to Canned Heat.. Excellent band !

Not sure about you, but my favorite recordings are bass, snare, and bass drum only records. That makes this right up my jammer because that's all I'm really hearing. Way to take a board recording in a really small room. You know that they'll have everything in the mix right where you want it. Minus 4 stars Wolfgang.

Check out their myspace page. They sound a lot better than the recording here.

I have my basement Jams from when I was 15. They have different names, but sound just like these guys. I recommend they buy a lot of effects pedals for the next recording, It will expand their sound and help them skip dimensions.I really like "I Start to Run", It reminds me of the MC5.
