Playlist Description
The first Daytrotter session that I heard was Cold War Kids in '06. I remember clearly the eerie vibe of "God Make Up Your Mind" and that I felt like I was in the room with the band, inside the recording. I knew then that there was something special about Daytrotter. I also love Daytrotter for the covers. I love Walkmen's Cohen session and Grizzly Bear's "He Hit Me." Too good. It's always fun to listen to Blake Mills noodle and Guards is my favorite new band. Duh. Thanks Daytrotter! Keep it up!
