  3. even with the audio problems with the mic, this is still a classic performance grifftrain Wednesday, July 04, 2012 7:14 am
  4. If I remember correctly, this show was filmed for Channel 13, WNET in NY. Alot of this never aired (maybe all) as there were several technical glitches, if you watch Dreams you'll notice that Greg's vocals are non-existent. Otherwise this stuff defines "Classic!" Duane and Dicky are totally on...Greg looks about 19! Anonymous Monday, July 02, 2012 10:50 am
  5. The Allman Brorhers are The best southern rock band of ALL Time ! Rock Roz Monday, July 02, 2012 10:03 am
  6. Where are all my friends who enjoyed the free concerts in the park in Charleston, S.C., back in 71-72? The band was fabulous, at its peak. The sunny afternoons, sitting under the trees..lots of cool folks, staying even cooler..Great days..long gone..but the Allmans were and are a piece of music heaven! janetO. janlop Monday, July 02, 2012 9:33 am

  9. This performance was spectacular and i couldn't not post saying so. This is classic southern fried rock at it's best. Electric and soulful are just two adjectives to describe. Everyone at that venue got blessed, not unlike many other bands at an electric and magical period in history. My statement might reflect an heightened sense of realism, but i guess that's what was happening w/ music and cannabis in the 70's consciousness. Anonymous Wednesday, June 27, 2012 10:35 pm
  10. Hung with the bros in macon at their ranch summer of '70 for awhile and they hung at my loft at 297 Bowery st Houston. after they were barred from the W.57th St hotel due to intense outrageous parties. And as Duane would say to Greg after eachmindbending show..'Man we was burnin' the wires tonight!' Perhaps THE best band of the era. Pure R&R with all the magnifence of thorobreds. Big props to Dicky Betts keepin the fills crisp, sharp and rollin' Jellyroll jellyroll Wednesday, June 27, 2012 8:56 pm
