Charlie Boyer & The Voyeurs cut right into what makes us tick.
It's shiny objects.
It's pretty objects.
It's putting on a show.
It's standing out in a crowd - being the 1-percent, even if we won't cop to it.
It's being whatever we want.
It's a desire to be adored beyond everything else.
It's being disgusted that anyone's adored more than we are.
We're petty when we're not considerate.
We're bastards when we aren't downright the most decent people you'll ever find.
We demand kindness though we're sometimes hesitant to exhibit it.
We are contradictions through and through.
It can be seen in all our mannerisms. There's little shroud.
We carouse with our slippery slopes.
We can't get enough of what we love.
We're greedy for our urges and they always get the better of us.
