Some days you wake up and you feel like death warmed over. Some days you wake up and feel the way it feels when you take a sip of a coffee that's been sitting/nursed for a while and get a mouthful of cold brew. Some days you just feel like body parts, haphazardly stuck together and moved by luck. Somehow, even on these days, things are accomplished. The blood flows and the dull pain is fought through with brute force. The band Drenge delivers these sterling moments in chalky-mouthed living, in hanging on for dear life living, in experiencing the sullied sunny days, in spoiled happiness, in razor blade activities, in general, sludgy tumult.
