This session by the young Australian band San Cisco makes me think about how great the following miscellaneous things are:
-- breakfasts that include hot-buttered toast, bacon, scrambled eggs, slow-drip coffee and someone sitting across from you whom you couldn't be any more attracted to than you are at that second.
-- light, warm summer rains
-- what it's like when the sun comes back out after those rains.
-- how a new hand feels in your old hand.
-- feeling like you used to feel when you were much younger, or, read a different way, what it means to have the years and effects of them melt away.
-- when you're waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting for that person you've got a debilitating crush on to call you and then they do, after an excruciating amount of time. See also, what it's like to feel many years younger, when these kinds of events were painful, magical and made you sweat more than you ever knew you could sweat.
-- walks on wet sand, under a big moon, with three drinks swishing around in your belly - again with that person you're wildly attracted to right there beside you.
