Scott Matthews takes us as far out into the field as we can go. It's just meadow for as far as the eye can see. We're missing. We're lost. Or that's how's it will feel to anyone who's trying to reach us. The reception is poor out here, where he's dropped us. We're disoriented for a short amount of time before that which we feel has poisoned us is actually what we now feel is our cure. We've been reset. We've been restored back to our original settings and we can feel exclusively in new ways, with interesting new capacities. We are choked up by all of the emotions, as they reach us, as they dig themselves in. The air is thicker where we've come to now know. There's enough for twice as many of us. There are plenty of sweet old dogs here to caress. There are barn swallows diving and swooping at us as we go for our walks. There are pains in every sunset and they are still there in every sunrise those following mornings. We're not spooked by any of this. We're happier now than we've been in years.
